Commission Info'

An entire custom widget to shamelessly promote my services? I'll take it.

I'm basically always open for an art commission. I don't get commissioned regularly enough at the moment to have any consistent price schemes going, so feel free to drop me a note, tell me what you want, and we can discuss prices and stuff. I tend to take payments through Paypal, rather than points, and there's a chance I might charge a teeny-tiny bit extra for overseas commissions, since Paypal charges a little for those. Nothing major though.

I can keep the commissions private, or post them if you'd like, or you can post them on your account so long as you credit me.

Prices tend to range between about £5 and £30, depending on complexity/number of figures/background/style, etc... But may be slightly more if it's an extremely complex piece, or an entire comic strip.

I will draw-

:bulletgreen: Digital pictures of characters, creatures or scenes of your choice, with price dependent on complexity. If you're considering this, you probably have a good idea already of the kind of stuff I'm good at drawing, but that does not at all mean that I wouldn't be up to trying something new or outside of my usual style.

:bulletgreen: Pencil drawings. The above more or less applies, but pencil sketches would probably be cheaper. If you just want a cheap or quick drawing to help visualise what your idea might look like, or if you're looking for something with a more traditional look, this might be for you. I can also ink them to give cleaner lineart, if you'd like.

:bulletgreen: Avatars, sigs, original characters, fanart, comic strips, more or less any format really. I can even do animated things, so long as they're reasonably simple.

I will NOT draw-

- Any picture which depicts things I would be uncomfortable drawing. Obviously this depends on the specific subject matter, but just to give you an idea-

:bulletred: Sexual or provocative characters/scenarios. That's not to say I won't draw attractive characters, but nothing that's overly explicit. Basically anything which would warrant a mature content tag.

:bulletred: Any other theme I arbitrarily decide I'm uncomfortable with. Please don't take it personally if I'd rather not draw your commission, it's not because I dislike you. If at all possible, I'll let you know if there's any alterations I could make with which I'd be willing to create it.

The more reference and description you provide, the better I can achieve what you want, so please don't be frustrated if I ask incessantly for details and the like, since it's all just in the cause of getting it exactly right.

If you have any other questions or want me to draw something for you, please don't hesitate to drop me a note and I'll get back to you ASAP.

Hey, thanks for dropping by. Welcome to my bio.

I'm basically your average lazy artist. I like video games, food, sleep and drawing. I'm currently working on my Pokemon Emerald Nuzlocke run, which constitutes about 70% of what I'm posting at the minute, but I also like to draw the odd comic or doodle on other things, be they video games, dumb puns, or just mildly amusing stuff going on in my life. I have been known to do drawing livestreams on occasion.

If you don't know what a Nuzlocke is and you're interested, you can find a brief description here .
The Nuzlocking community is awesome and y'all should join in the fun.

I currently reside in the innocuous little hovel of a town known as Abingdon, hanging off the crusty rear-end of the much more well known city of Oxford.

As of now I am doing an art foundation course in a local college and ultimately intend to move on to study animation in university.

I try to read every single comment I receive, be it on my profile or on my submissions. If I don't reply, please don't take it personally, I really do appreciate the input. The fact is though that I cannot possibly reply individually to every single one without sounding extremely repetitive - there are only so many times I can say "Thanks" before I start sounding like a broken record.

That being said, please feel free to post your honest thoughts, critical or otherwise. So long as you're not explicitly rude, I don't mind. I have a pretty straightforward way of typing, but please don't let that put you off talking to me, I like to think I'm fairly easy to get along with. I will also endeavour to answer any specific questions or particularly interesting comments that I can. If you ask a question and I don't answer, please don't feel afraid to ask again; as I said before, I can be forgetful. By all means talk to me in a note if you'd prefer.

I'm generally up for commissions. There's a little more info' on that elsewhere on my profile. Go ahead and drop me a note if you're interested.

I try to always return llamas. Sharing is caring.
I don't generally do those tag journal things though, except for from close friends. That's not to say that you're forbidden to tag me, just please don't take offence if I don't repost it.

I'm totally aware that loooooads of my "art", particularly the older stuff, is horrible. Like, makes-you-throw-up-very-slightly-when-you-see-it horrible. But that's OK, improvement is part of any artist's journey, and you can't improve if you weren't terrible at some point. Something something Einstein quote.

But yeah, keeping up the old detritus preserves a sort of visual diary of my improving over the years, even if it does make the gallery look a little gross and cluttered towards the last page or two. It looks horrible and I'm sorry, but it's all for the grea'er good.

The grea'er good.

If you've read this far and seen some of my stuff and for some reason you somehow haven't already been driven away from boredom, congratulations, and fear not, it's nearly over.

I do have a Twitter, which ought to show up below. I don't Twitter. Like, at all. I think I have like two or three tweets max. Over like, three years. Like there's legitimately no reason to follow me on it at all. Still, I'm not gonna stop you.

I'm just sayin', you're going to be disappointed if you do.

Also literally the same applies to my Tumblr. Hell if I know how this damn site works, I just made an account to take the dumb username in case someone else stole it.

This is the end. I'll put you out of your misery now. Go away. Read a book. Find true love. Live your life as you see fit. The world is your shellfish. Find freedom in this canvas.

Howdy y'all. So yeah, this is just a general update on stuff that's happening. Nothing crazy interesting but hey.

Firstly, my computer had a little bit of a crisis the other week. In that it sort of refused to boot. Fortunately I was able to salvage the contents of the hard drive and do a complete re-install of Windows. I wasn't, however, able to salvage the not-inconsiderable brush library I had accrued, as well as the settings and stuff for Photoshop and Sai, so that might slow my art-flow a little while I adapt and try to return those to their previous state.

I'm currently in college doing an art foundation course, before going to uni' next year, which is taking up a decent amount of my time, so apologies if I update a little slower than you might be used to, or take a little longer over commissions and the like. Hopefully I should be able to balance them somewhat decently.

Speaking of uni's I'm gonna be going on several uni' open days over the coming weeks to find the best animation course for me, which is gonna be incredibly fun. Hooray.

Oh, but on the bright side, in November I'm probably gonna head on over to the exotic city of Birmingham to go to a comic-con. Woo!
Never been to a con before so that should be sweet. Don't really know what to expect, but I'm up for whatever.

This ended up a bit shorter than I expected. Not even sure it was worth bothering to write. But hey, anything to pass the time while Photoshop reinstalls.

Later all.
Totally not secretly playing Skyrim on Livestream.

Oy. You use a tablet to draw stuff, don't you? I am kinda thinking of drawing more often digitally using gimp, but with a mouse it is terrible. The FEW seconds I used to sketch a comic already made me give up on the idea hahah. Comics require a loooot more effort compared to a single image apparently.

They definitely do. There's a lot more to consider in terms of composition and content and stuff. Plus, y'know, there's a lot more to draw.

Drawing with a mouse is painful. If you're thinking of getting a tablet, one of the cheaper Wacom ones is really all you need to begin with.

Actually I have a bamboo tablet. Just gotta to learn how to use this thing now. Mouse is too annoying to make details and stuff, as you don't really have -full- control and grip on what you are doing.

But yeah, at least could finish a drawing to post on dA now. Just forgot to post the other Dustox drawing I did. Might post it another time or something, and HOPEFULLY learn how to use this tablet fast too.

There's only room for one emo homicidal Dustox around these parts.

Alright. Now that I've finished catching up with your nuzlocke comic, I truly have to apologize due to me probably flooding your inbox with constant favorites and comments. The comic is really a great mixture of endless humor and an interesting plot, and you've got fantastic, likable characters to go along with it.

Definitely a standout IMO and I hope you keep up the good work, man!
